Info: Rosso del Conte, born in 1970, is the first expression of great quality and longevity produced in Sicily. Wanted and created by Count Giuseppe, it expresses the characteristics of the Regaleali Estate. Originally a Perricone and a Nero d'Avola, grown as sapling in the San Lucio vineyard. Its history is long and made of numerous evolutions including different types of aging (large chestnut barrels from 1970 to 1987, large Slavonian oak barrels until 1991 and subsequently French oak tonneau and barriques). It was the first single vineyard wine in Sicily.
